Neuropower Consult
Empowering Neurodivergent Adolescents Through Collaboration, Self-Awareness and Advocacy. With over 20 years of experience working in special education, I founded Neuropower Consult to help adolescents tap into their "neuropower"; their individual processing styles and unique dispositions, to foster self-awareness, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to thrive. My consulting practice provides individualized guidance for both, students and parents—supporting students in self-advocacy and executive functioning skills while helping parents to navigate school systems, special education services, and learning accommodations.Every student has a unique way of thinking, processing, and experiencing the world—my goal is to make that an asset, not a barrier. I work closely with students and their families to provide strategies and support that streamline their educational journey and set them up for success. Whether it’s guiding a student in developing organizational skills, demystifying IEPs and evaluations for parents, or supporting in advocacy for a child’s needs, my approach is collaborative, transparent, and designed to empower.

Mamatha Moorthy Rajan, M.S., LEP
I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) with over 20 years of experience as a school psychologist in public elementary and secondary schools. As both a professional in education and a parent raising two teenagers, I understand the challenges of navigating parenting, advocating for our children and fostering independence while ensuring they get the support they need.My philosophy is that every student's learning journey is unique-there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Through years of working with parents, teachers, specialists, and students, I have developed a practice based on collaboration, transparency, and empowering youth to take ownership of their learning process. I am well versed in interpreting evaluation data and have an insider scope of how school systems provide services. I thoroughly understand both the schools’ and families’ perspectives, recognizing the importance of feeling heard and validated. My goal is to demystify special education services, break down stigmas, and equip families and students with the tools they need for success.Parent Testimonial
"Mamatha was a tremendous support to our family when we were struggling with ensuring our autistic 16 year old was receiving the necessary supports in the public high school. She was thoughtful in her approach to understanding our child’s needs, extremely thorough in reviewing the mounds of documents we sent her and genuinely compassionate. You could tell she really cares about students having IEPs that are implemented accurately. Her experience in navigating the district was very clear and invaluable to us in our process. I highly recommend her services!!!"
